NS-SUMMARY
Designed for sustained operation.
ENGINEERING SYSTEMS / MANUFACTURING DIV. 04
A vector-graphics terminal used by Northster's engineering and cartography divisions. Strokes were rendered, not rasterised — producing diagrams of unusual clarity.
The last vector unit shipped in 1991. Replaced internally by the HZN–90 system.
NS-ARC-0178 / 2 ENTRIES
Vector rendering confirmed superior to raster equivalents for cartographic division use cases. Plotter output quality exceeds specification.
Final production run of 40 units completed. Tooling retired. Service parts reserved through 2000 under extended parts agreement.
